All courses are funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Training and Exercise Integration Secretariat (TEI). The direct delivery courses are hosted nationally at major universities, emergency management and government centers, and other selected venues.

Homeland Security Programs is a division of the West Virginia University Research Corporation.



Our Mission Statement

Homeland Security Programs at West Virginia University designs, develops, and delivers training solutions that strengthen the capacities of individuals, communities, and organizations to protect themselves and each other. Through education and collaboration, communities nationwide will be better prepared to plan for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters of all kinds.
